What we store

  • Your email address, when you verified it, and when you last signed in.
  • Sign-in codes and links, stored only as one-way hashes. They expire after 15 minutes and work once.
  • A session cookie (HttpOnly, secure) that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
  • Your preferences, such as volume and default settings.
  • Your training data: each session's settings, the questions you heard, your answers, response times, replays, interruptions, and scores.
  • Rate-limit counters keyed by a one-way hash of your email or IP address, kept briefly to prevent abuse.

Guest practice isn't saved to an account. Your browser keeps your playback preferences in local storage; no credentials are stored there.

Why

To sign you in, run your sessions, show your results and progress, and protect the service from abuse. We don't sell your data or show advertising.

Service providers

  • Cloudflare hosts the application and database, and provides Turnstile, the automatic human check on the sign-in form.
  • SendGrid (Twilio) delivers sign-in emails.

Your choices

  • Download all of your training data as CSV from Progress or Settings.
  • Delete your account from Settings. This permanently removes your account, preferences, and training history.

Retention

Account and training data are kept until you delete your account. Expired sign-in tokens, sessions, and rate-limit counters are deleted automatically.
